SHAKESPEARE ON THE RIVER

Theatre-goers can come early to enjoy food trucks along Villita Way and short Shakespeare performances by local performers. The highlight of this event is Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre’s The Taming of the Shrew.
CONSTELLATIONS

The hit play from British playwright Nick Payne tinkers with this concept in ways that make for sophisticated yet heartwarming drama. The widely lauded play made its way from London to Broadway in 2015 and features only two characters. In an exploration of love and astrophysics, especially the concept of parallel universes, the play enlivens the mind and stirs the heart in equal measure.
WORLD’S LARGEST BLANKET FORT AND ACCESS ABILITY FEST

Guests can enjoy a day of fun while watching volunteers with the Autism Treatment Center break the Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Blanket Fort. They will be building a 5,500 square foot blanket fort made from 3,000 feet of PVC pipe and 500 blankets donated by the community. Activities include health screenings, games, mascots, demonstrations, door prizes and more.
DRONE EXHIBITION
Saturday | 12-6pm | Converse North Park | Free
The Drone Exhibition focuses on inspiring youth into STEM-related fields. Kids will have the opportunity to learn how to fly a real drone, solder lights on to a board, professional options and more. Guests will also get a chance to win door prizes like drones and Santikos tickets. Also featuring live music, food vendors, craft vendors, a game truck and yard games.
ADOPTION DAY AT WOOF GANG

151 FOOD PARK GRAND OPENING

Come on out for fantastic food from Ay Que Rico Food Truck and Bad to the Bone BBQ. The bar will be open starting at 12pm. The 151 Food Park is all ages until 10pm so bring your family and friends out for a fantastic day of food and fun. 151 Saloon will have live music starting at 9pm from the Scott Clinton Band. Deejay Quake will be spinning the best in Country, Top 40, and Dance till 2am.
10BIT WORKS OPEN HOUSE

RIDE FOR SAFETY AWARENESS

TCI/Vision Zero is hosting a special bike ride (8 miles) as part of World Day of Remembrance honoring the 104 people who died in traffic related accidents this year. This includes Allen Williams of Team H-E-B. Team H-E-B is participating with as many riders that we can get.
